For babies 3 months and over
A child’s temperature can vary between 36°C and 37°C. A mild rise is about 37.8°C and is common just before a tooth erupts. If your baby has a temperature of more than 37.8°C for more than a day you should contact your doctor or health visitor. If your baby has a slight fever you can use a paracetamol suspension, such as Disprol.
Disprol Paracetamol Suspension is specially formulated for babies of three months and over to bring down the temperature of a feverish child and also relieve pain. Always read the label.
Top tip
If your baby is very distressed during teething it is acceptable to use both Bonjela Teething Gel for localised pain relief and Disprol Paracetamol Suspension for fever and pain relief together.
